We wanted to share the details of our two upcoming fundraisers for Ohio Creators for Progress with you!
First, we have Pints for Progress this Tuesday, August 4th at Jackie O’s On Fourth in Columbus, OH from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. We’ll be chatting about digital organizing, what we’re building with Ohio Creators for Progress, and playing a quick game. Shoutout to Derrick Smith and Michaela Burriss for hosting this event!
Tickets are $25 and includes two drink tickets. If you’re unaware, Jackie O’s has AMAZING beer, but they also have signature cocktails and a full bar.
Second, we have Pins for Progress on Saturday, August 15th at Madison Bowl in Cincinatti, OH from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. This is a bowling fundraiser hosted by Bryan Hambley and RGM Strategies - big thanks to both of them! 🎳
Tickets are $40. Bowling lane, shoe rental, drinks, and bites provided. Don’t worry, we’re not good at bowling either. 🤪
Why we’re hosting these fundraisers: Ohio Creators for Progress is building a network of Ohio creators through meetups, trainings, and coordinated campaigns to help important stories and candidates break through the noise. This fall, we’re running two digital campaigns to help elect Amy Acton as Ohio’s next Governor, and we need to raise the funds to do it.
