What is Ohio Creators for Progress?
Ohio Creators for Progress is a statewide network of digital creators dedicated to digital organizing, engaging Ohioans, and advancing progressive ideals across the state. The group is funded by the United SHE Stands Action Fund, an Ohio-based PAC. We know that winning elections and moving Ohio forward means meeting people where they already are - online! We’re bringing together creators from across the state to build a powerful organizing network through meetups, events, training, and coordinated campaigns that help important stories and candidates break through the noise.
This isn’t a replacement for traditional organizing. It’s an extension of it! Door knocking, phone banking, and voter registration still matter. But digital organizing lets us reach audiences that traditional methods simply can’t.
How it works & How to get involved
When Ohio creators work together, the impact is real. Imagine dozens of creators across the state posting about what voucher programs are doing to our public schools. Those posts gain traction, reach new audiences, and suddenly people who weren’t paying attention are fired up and calling their representatives. That’s the power of a coordinated network.
